How to play
Chinese Checkers.
Chinese Checkers is a race to move your marbles into the triangle directly opposite you. You can take one small step, or connect several jumps in a single turn.
On this site, play free with 2–6 players: friends, family, bots, or a mix. Each player starts with 10 marbles. No downloads or sign-up.
Fill the opposite triangle
Be the first to get all 10 of your marbles into the 10 holes of your destination triangle. In a two-player game, it is where your opponent starts. On this site, games with more players continue to determine the finishing order.
You never capture or remove marbles. Every marble stays on the board, even when someone jumps over it.
Choose a step or a jump
On your turn, choose one of your marbles. Move along any of the board’s six straight directions, including sideways or backwards. Every landing hole must be empty.
One step
Move into a neighbouring empty hole. That ends your turn.
One jump
Jump over a marble into the empty hole just beyond it. You can jump over any colour, including your own.
Or keep jumping
After a jump, the same marble can jump again. You may change direction between jumps and stop when you choose. You cannot add a step to a jump chain or switch to another marble mid-turn.
In this game, tap End Turn when you are done jumping. A jump does not end your turn automatically, because you can always jump back.
This game also allows longer jumps
Some versions of Chinese Checkers allow only jumps over a neighbouring marble. This site allows longer jumps too. The marble you jump over must be exactly halfway between your starting hole and your landing hole. All other holes along that straight line must be empty.
You cannot jump over two marbles at once. The game highlights legal landing holes when you select a marble, so you do not need to count the distance yourself.

For a hands-on introduction, open How to play on the homepage. It lets you practise a step, a jump and a chain without changing a real game.
Play Chinese CheckersA few things to try

- Use marbles of any colour as stepping stones.
- Bring your back marbles forward while there are still marbles to jump over.
